Statutory Off Road Notification (SORN)

Hello all

Just a quick message about Vehicle Excise Licence (VEL) or in old money, road tax!

If a vehicle is registered as SORN then it must not be used on the public highway, quite simple.

Likewise your vehicle must be taxed if applicable, if you are to use it on the public highway.

I know that this sounds obvious but for some reason not everyone appears to understand this.

Unfortunately this is what happened to the BMW in the photo and it's now gone on a short separation from its owner to the recovery yard.

The DVLA take up the case from here………
